Description
ZMT510-A non-contact boil-dry protection sensor developed for gas stove and smart cooktop safety applications.
Traditional contact-based dry-burning protection solutions often depend on direct contact with the cookware, which may be affected by pot material, bottom flatness, placement position, mechanical wear, and long-term contamination from oil fumes or cooking residue.
The ZMT510-A adopts non-contact thermal radiation sensing technology and integrates dry-burning judgment logic inside the sensor. It can help gas stove manufacturers detect abnormal heating conditions more reliably and output an alarm signal when dry-burning risk is identified.
With cookware-independent detection, no mechanical contact wear, and easier system integration, ZMT510-A provides a practical safety sensing solution for modern gas stoves, built-in gas cooktops, and smart kitchen appliances.
Application
- Household gas stoves
- Built-in gas cooktops
- Smart gas stoves
- Dry-burning protection systems
- Dry boil protection systems
- Safety-enhanced kitchen appliances
- OEM and ODM gas stove control platforms
- Elderly-friendly kitchen safety products
- High-end cooktop safety upgrade projects
- Smart home kitchen safety linkage systems
Features
1. Better Cookware Compatibility
The ZMT510-A uses non-contact detection and does not need to physically touch the pot bottom. This helps reduce the influence of cookware material, bottom flatness, pot shape, and placement position, making it more suitable for real household cooking scenarios.
2. Built-In Dry-Burning Judgment Logic
The sensor integrates dry-burning judgment logic, reducing the need for gas stove manufacturers to develop complex dry-burning algorithms from raw temperature data. This helps shorten development cycles and improve product consistency.
3. No Mechanical Contact Wear
Because the sensor does not rely on a mechanical contact structure, it avoids wear, deformation, and contact failure caused by repeated cookware movement. This supports long-term stability in high-temperature, oily, and humid kitchen environments.
4. Better User Experience
The non-contact design avoids protruding mechanical sensing parts above the burner area. Users can place, move, slide, or toss cookware more naturally, which is especially useful for wok cooking and high-frequency cooking scenarios.
5. Easier OEM Integration
ZMT510-A is suitable for gas stove manufacturers developing smart safety functions. It can provide dry-burning alarm judgment output for linkage with the main control system, gas valve control, buzzer alarm, display panel, or smart home safety system.
6. Supports Smart Gas Stove Safety Upgrade
With non-contact sensing, built-in judgment logic, and reliable dry-burning protection capability, ZMT510-A helps gas stove manufacturers improve product safety, reduce after-sales risk, and build differentiated smart cooktop products.

Technical Support:
Customized technical design and function, LOGO and package are available without extra charge (including molding fee) for mass volume.
The sensors don't have sleeping mode. It can be set in program if needed.
All Winsen products go through strict inspections and tests to make sure they are 100% qualified before shipping out.
The sensor has been fully tested (not calibrated) before leaving the factory, but the module will be calibrated before leaving the factory.
However, after transportation and storage, the environment conditions change, and the surface of the sensor absorbs moisture, mixed gas, pollution matters, etc. It is recommended that customers perform aging and calibration after sensors become stable according to the program and use occasions of the whole device.
15﹪-90﹪RH without condensation, greater or less than this range or long-term high temperature and high humidity will affect the life of the sensor.
Our sensors are certified with CE, 3C, ROHS, anti-explosion, fire prevention, and coal mining safety according to different applications. And we provide assistance for new certification.
Many factors can cause the sensor to fail such as broken wires in transportation, poisoning, falling off of the sensitive material, damage to the heating wire (device), etc. Please find specific cause in each category with Winsen’s aftersales.
Winsen provides professional consultation and service before and after sales. We will recommend the best fitting sensor for your demand. If you have any problem, don’t hesitate to email us to sales@winsensor.com
