Description
The MH-T8041A laser methane gas sensor is a high-precision gas sensor based on Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). This sensor features stable performance, long service life, and high sensitivity. With advanced data processing, the sensor offers faster response speed, higher sensitivity, and lower power consumption, continuously monitoring methane concentration in the air and transmitting real-time data.
The product is manufactured in accordance with national standards GB/T 3836.1-2021 Explosive atmospheres – Part 1: Equipment – General requirements and GB/T 3836.4-2021 Explosive atmospheres – Part 4: Equipment protection by intrinsic safety "i". It is suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations where explosive mixtures of flammable gases or vapors with air of Class IIA~IIC and temperature groups T1~ T6 may exist.

The sensors don't have sleeping mode. It can be set in program if needed.
All Winsen products go through strict inspections and tests to make sure they are 100% qualified before shipping out.
The sensor has been fully tested (not calibrated) before leaving the factory, but the module will be calibrated before leaving the factory.
However, after transportation and storage, the environment conditions change, and the surface of the sensor absorbs moisture, mixed gas, pollution matters, etc. It is recommended that customers perform aging and calibration after sensors become stable according to the program and use occasions of the whole device.
15﹪-90﹪RH without condensation,greater or less than this range or long-term high temperature and high humidity will affect the life of the sensor.
